Study plan
This study plan is made up of 13 required subjects and 2 electives, totaling 15.
The class sessions are taught as seminars or workshops, depending on whether they focus on theoretical aspects or skill development. Students are required to read and study the assigned texts, look for and analyze additional complementary information from the library and data bases that give access to specialized and professional journals, and participate in class discussions and demonstrations.
Area 1 Psychotherapeutic skills and supervision.

- Supervision of psychotherapeutic work I, II and III.
Area 2 Social theories and context.
- Intervention theories and methods I, II, III, IV.
- Sociocultural context and psychotherapy I and II.
- The subject's construction of knowledge.
- Ethics in clinical practice.
- Knowledge in sexuality.
- Selected topics in psychotherapy.
- Psychotherapeutic techniques.
Area 3 Development of professional experience.
- Development of professional experience I and II.
Students must pass two of the following courses or other available courses from the institution's general graduate catalogue or academic exchange programs, with prior authorization from the program coordinator
