Our Master's Degree is registered on the National Registry of Quality Graduate Programs of the National Science and Technology Council (CONACYT) as a program of "International Competence," which allows us to offer scholarships to our enrolled students. The process to obtain the CONACYT scholarship is done at ITESO in the last week of August 2015, once students have enrolled.
The scholarship that this institution offers is solely for living expenses, and does not cover tuition fees. Our students currently receive about 8,700 pesos a month for 24 months only. To be a candidate for the CONACYT scholarship, a students must first be admitted into the program and take the National Admissions Exam for Graduate Programs (review venues and dates at www.ceneval.edu.mx or at: http://registroenlinea.ceneval.edu.mx/RegistroLinea/index.php).
To receive this scholarship students must conclude their graduate program in no more than 2 years and 175 days. In other words, they must complete the curricular program in 4 semesters and they have a little under six months to complete their dissertation.
With this academic program, ITESO makes a social contribution to the generation of discussion and critical assessment about new technologies, the media, scientific development, and different cultural expressions, as well as the interconnections of these elements within a community.
The increasing contribution of our students' research and academic production to address regional and national issues, as well as the involvement of the program's graduates in the professional field, has allowed us to maintain the program's outstanding evolution, which made it the first ITESO program to be listed on the National Registry of Quality Graduate Programs.
