Mobility
- Since this is a professionalizing graduate program, students study and work at the same time, making it difficult for them to forgo their source of income to temporarily change their residence.
- Should the opportunity arise, it would probably be at Loyola University of Los Angeles, since a few years ago professors from this university came to ITESO to teach summer courses in the Master's Degree in Applied Informatics.
- There was a student who moved to Mexico City and took two subjects at Ibero Mexico City.
- There was an agreement with Ibero Leon to offer the Master's in Applied Informatics, but the agreement ended several years ago.
ITESO University is part of the largest network of universities in the world, comprising over 200 Jesuit universities on five continents. They share 450 years of educational tradition that has historically been located at the core of the world's most advanced thinking, and that is renowned for cultivating leaders in all the fields of science and the arts. Jesuit universities educate a million and a half students every year, forming professionals who are committed to the historical context in which they live. This commitment calls on students to construct, throughout their education, a global, comprehensive perspective of their world that will allow them to act accordingly and transform the surrounding context.
In Latin America ITESO belongs to the AUSJAL network, the Association of Universities Entrusted to the Society of Jesus, which encompasses 31 universities and institutions of higher education entrusted to the Society of Jesus in 14 Latin American countries. In Mexico ITESO is a member of the Jesuit University System (SUJ), which is made up of 8 universities. Every ITESO student, professor and alumnus therefore has an enviable opportunity for academic mobility by way of exchange programs between these and other universities throughout the world. In this way our students are able to engage in joint research, development and innovation projects that address diverse realities of Mexico and Latin America.
