Advisory Support
The advisory support system, which consists primarily of collective strategies, is aimed at building links between students' different research, innovation and development interests and each graduate program's Lines of Generation and Application of Knowledge, as well as fostering interdisciplinary ties with the rest of the graduate programs.
This academic support is offered from a person-centered approach through a process of advisory sessions that integrate preferably collective production scenarios. This involves interaction between students and advisors aimed at creating dissonance through constructive criticism within collaborative learning spaces in order to drive the reflective process and the collective construction of knowledge.
The advisory support system is conceived as a system that articulates different formative dimensions (individual, social and historical) in each of the graduate program's curricular terms. It is not limited to the advisor's contributions, and does not consist of individual moments disconnected from the program's overall academic activity. It is an integrative process with a systemic vision that helps students make appropriate decisions with respect to their project.
In compliance with the Ignatian vision of caring for the person and his or her human development, the institution provides students with psychological and emotional support through its Center for Accompaniment and Youth Studies (C-Juven), where they receive psycho-affective counseling, professional orientation and institutional support, in the form of workshops designed to strengthen psycho-emotional skills, which are essential for students in emotionally vulnerable situations to successfully complete their graduate studies.
