HELLA AUTOMOTIVE MEXICO
HELLA Automotive MÉxico, S.A. de C.V. (HAM) started operations on April 1, 2012, the result of a merger between Electro Óptica, S.A. de C.V. (EOSA), founded in 1964 and HELLA Electronics México, S.A. de C.V. (HEM), founded in 2008. HELLA Automotive México, S.A. de C.V. develops and manufactures electrical components and lighting systems for the automotive industry. It employs over 3,000 people and has 5 production plants, aside from the only 2 design and development centers in Latin America, one that focuses on the development of lighting products and the other on the development of electrical components; both centers are located in Jalisco. The lighting division, HAM-Lighting, offers a wide array of products that cover all aspects of a vehicle: headlights, rear lights, multifunctional lights, interior lighting, small lights (blinkers, fog lights, third brake light, etc.). HELLA strives to stay at the cutting edge of the major trends occurring in the automotive industry, and is concerned about environmental issues, as well as passenger safety and comfort. HELLA's experience, as well as its products, are there for our clients, who currently include all the automobile manufacturers in the world, in every vehicle category.

CONTINENTAL GUADALAJARA SERVICES MEXICO

INTEL TECNOLOGÍA DE MÉXICO
The Guadalajara Design Center (GDC) is Intel's biggest engineering center in Latin America. The GDC focuses on next-generation devices and hardware for servers, system software and new product devices based on Intel technologies. The GDC started up in 2000, and has grown to employ over 1,000 people. The GDC works with the best and most brilliant engineers in their respective fields of knowledge. Close to 40% of GDC employees have a graduate degree. The GDC develops server, customer and device programs, and conducts latest-generation computer platform validation for future data centers and business IT.

ORACLE MEXICO DESIGN CENTER
The third biggest center worldwide, which along with India and the United States, focuses on the development and research of applications for the company's core products: Oracle Database and Oracle Enterprise Manager. The main projects in the database area include developing and maintaining the database kernel, Clustering, Gateways, Open XML, and open code projects, as well as the development and upkeep of follow-up tools and tool management.

CINVESTAV GUADALAJARA UNIT
CINVESTAV was established in 1961 as an effort by the public sector to satisfy the growing demand for high-level human resources, and to conduct research, teaching, and technological development activities. The Guadalajara Unit of CINVESTAV opened its doors in 1988 with the Semiconductor Technology Center (CTS in its initials in Spanish), which specialized in the design of electronic components. The Center was initially sponsored by IBM Mexico and the Foreign Investment Commission of SECOFI (Ministry of Commerce and Industrial Promotion). In 1995, academic activities got underway with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. The master's and PhD degree programs in Electrical Engineering Sciences were incorporated, with specializations in computer science, automatic control, electronic design, electrical and power systems and telecommunications.
