- Have an academic degree (undergraduate or graduate, depending on the program you wish to apply for)
- Have professional experience
- Take the admission exam or submit your documentation (depending on the program)

What does Financial Aid consist of?
Financial aid granted by the university is a combination of a student loan and a scholarship. It is granted on the basis of the applicant's economic need and tuition costs.
Scholarship: An exemption from tuition that applies throughout the entire program as long as the student fulfills the academic performance requirements (not failing any subjects and maintaining the overall average of his or her graduating class).
Financial Aid: A percentage of financial support, in the form of a student loan, which students start paying off upon concluding their studies. We offer manageable payment plans, according to the family's income.
Student loans are in pesos or Udis (Units of Investment, in their initials in Spanish):
-In pesos at an annual interest rate of 9.90%, with installments for up to 5.5 years after concluding the graduate program.
-In Udis at a real interest rate of 4.50%, with installments for up to 5 years after concluding the graduate program.
How do I begin the application process for Financial Aid?
- Request a file number at the Graduate School Admissions Office.
- Pay for the socioeconomic study at the Financial Information Module or at BBVA Bancomer (agreement number CIE 8001-2, to the order of ITESO AC; use your 9-digit file number as the reference number).
- Fill out the financial aid application.
- Submit the completed application and complete documentation to the Coordination of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
- Receive the visit from the social worker (if you are from out of town, you must come in for an interview at the Coordination of Scholarships and Financial Aid)
- Wait 10 working days.
- Pick up the results at the Scholarships and Financial Aid Office.
Do I have to be admitted to the graduate program before I can begin my financial aid application?
No. The financial aid application and admission processes are independent. You can apply for financial aid as of the date specified by the Coordination of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
Is ITESO financial aid accumulative for tuition payments?
Discounts are not accumulative. It is up to the student to choose the percentage of aid that best meets his or her needs.
