Roberto Martínez González, MBA (Coordinator)
Master on Business Administration by the ITESM. Electronics and Communications Engineer by the Guadalajara University and Seminars on international institutes. Coordinates the Specialization in Supply Chain Management. Courses Taught; Operations management, procurement and production control. Finance and Logistics of the supply chain. Prior to joining ITESO, Mr. Martinez was Director of the Supply Chain for Latin America at Hewlett Packard where he was responsible for distribution services, manufacturing and inventory management, planning, purchasing, transportation management, and supply chain development. Roberto also is also founding director of companies on the health and food industries and business consultant of supply chain operations and optimization.
Ignacio Álvarez Placencia, MBA
Executive with 27 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing for Manufacturing, Indirect Assets and Services; during 8 of these years he has occupied executive positions at the regional Latin American level. Recognized for short- and long-term results based on effective Supply Chain management, strategic discipline, and the formation of high-performance teams. Founding member of the Lean Thinking Solutions México institute, accredited by the Lean Enterprise Institute, founded by James P. Womack. Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de las Américas, Black Belt Certificate from the Eastman Kodak Company and MBA from Central Michigan University. Professor of Supply Chain Management, Six Sigma, and Lean Philosophy at the graduate level.
Dr. John Caltagirone
Founding Director, Loyola Business Leadership Hub, and Executive Director, Supply and Value Chain Center.Before joining Loyola, he was the Vice President for Global Supply Chain Strategy at The Revere Group. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and Director of Logistics and Operations for Peapod, Inc., where he was in charge of distribution services, inventory management, purchasing, transportation management, logistical engineering and customer service. He has also held senior executive positions in the following companies: Rand McNally, RR Donnelley & Sons and Ryder Integrated Logistics.
Rodolfo Casillas Alarcon, MBA
Master's Degree in Global Management, a joint program between ITESM and the Thunderbird School of Global Management; Master's Degree in Computer Science, a joint program between Stanford University and the UAdeG; graduate of the senior executive program of the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa; Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Mechanical Engineering from the UAdeG.
In 1990 he joined IBM de México as a product engineer in the personal computer area; he was assigned to international projects within IBM, in the city of Austin, Texas, as a liaison engineer between the circuit board manufacturing plant and IBM's manufacturing plant in Mexico. He also worked at the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina as the technical project coordinator within the worldwide purchasing organization. In 2006 he was named Senior Technical Staff Member. In 27 years of professional activity he has been in charge of the development, quality and certification of suppliers in the electronics industry for inputs such as plastics, metal-mechanical assemblies, packaging, cables and computer manufacturing, and he has coordinated technical projects with circuit board manufacturing companies in countries such as Taiwan, China, Rumania, South Korea and, of course, Mexico, He was the worldwide purchasing manager for temporary personnel, with responsibility for over 700 suppliers in 70 countries, overseeing personnel in the United States, Hungary, India, Brazil and Singapore. He has been an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) since 1990, and served as president of the Guadalajara chapter; he has also belonged to the Beta Gamma Sigma International Business Honor Society since 2003.
Ricardo Cortez Amezcua, M.F.
Master's Degree in Finance from the UNIVA; Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Guadalajara; Bachelor's Degree in Business from the UNIVA, and currently an MBA student at ITESO. He has taken international courses and seminars. Ten years of teaching experience in the field of international business; he teaches courses on Export Models and Customs Classification. Former president of the Mexican Association of Canadian Studies; Mexico's representative on the International Council for Canadian Studies; consultant in the area of international business, specifically international business management. He headed the academic group on legislation in ITESO's undergraduate program in Global Trade and Business.
Dr. Gustavo Miguel Guillemin Franco
PhD in Management Science (UNAM), Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering (UAG), Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering (ITESO). Experience in Research and Development Project Management at Hewlett Packard, with projects for Latin America and Singapore, as well as Architect and Research and Development Engineer and collaborator on projects with countries such as the United States, Japan, Germany, France, India and Latin America. 16 years of teaching experience in ITESO's master's degree and certification programs and in the joint-degree program with Regis. Visiting professor at Boise State University and Ravensburg University (Germany). He collaborated in the Master's Degree program at CINVESTAV in Guadalajara. Business consultant and member of the board of directors at 4 companies in Guadalajara. Award for the best business PhD thesis in Latin America from La Casa de América in Portugal and Banco Santander.
Hugo Hernández Navarro, M.Fin.
Master's Degree in Finance (University of Illinois, Urbana - Champaign), Specialization in Corporate Finance, Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (ITESM). Professional experience in the areas of Corporate Finance, assessment of businesses and investment projects, creation/appraisal of microbusinesses, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Demand Planning. He has worked in Banks, Brokerage Firms, and as an independent consultant. 23 years of professional experience. 18 years of teaching experience. He currently works at Hewlett Packard as Demand Planning Manager for Latin America.

PhD in Senior Executive Functions from the Universidad Antropológica; Master's Degree in International Law (LLM) with a focus on global business, both from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia; MBA with a specialization in business management; Bachelor's Degree in International Trade from the Tec de Monterrey; Bachelor's Degree in Law from UNIVA. Results activator in business development, life coach and executive certified by the International Association of Coaches (IAC). Certified as Corporate Governance Advisor and family business advisor, both from the IMMPC. Dr. Salvador Cervantes Cervantes
PhD in Management Science from UNIVA, Master's Degree in Management and Bachelor's Degree in International Trade. Member of 6 national and international boards of directors and academic boards, he also sits on the editorial board of international indexed journals in Brazil and Colombia. He has been awarded the following recognitions: Merit as Academics-Business Researcher. JALTEC. Jalisco Technology System; Merit Honor, International Council of Canadian Studies-ICCS 2016, and the 2012 Governor-General Medal from the Government of Canada for strengthening the international relations between the two countries. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he is also active as a thesis advisor, speaker and presenter at universities in Mexico and around the world, in countries such as France, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Chile, Colombia, etc., on topics of Business Strategy, North America, and Branding. He has always combined his business activity with academics, having served as Purchasing and Materials Supervisor for LiteOn Enclosure Company and Natsteel Electronic Systems.
