Focus of generation and/or application of knowledge
This program currently has only one Line of Generation and Application of Knowledge (LGAK):
Design of electronic devices, circuits and systems.
This line belongs to the formal research program of the Department of Electronics, Systems and Informatics, the object of research being problem-solving through the creation and development of electronic technology, thus making innovative contributions to the generation and application of knowledge in the following areas: analog electronics, digital electronics and embedded systems, radiofrequency and microwaves, computer-assisted design (CAD), digital signal processing (DSP).
Examples of applications of this line include communication systems, vehicular technology, high-performance computing, and bio-electronic systems, among others. Research products in this line consist of the design of digital, analog and hybrid electronic circuits and systems, both discrete and integrated, including simulation, characterization, layout, evaluation, construction and testing.
